Dr. J.J.Magdum Ayurved Medical College is organing various programs and camps under “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahostav.” On 4th Feb. 2023, Public Awareness Rally is organized on World Cancer Day. A total of 42 students and 18 staff were present for this rally. It started from the college campus then to Jaysingpur ST stand on Shirol-wadi road and ended at the front gate of the college. Under this event, Janjagruti about Cancer was done by students. Cancer incidence is continuing to increase in India. World Cancer Day is celebrated across the globe on 4th February. It aims to inculcate people’s compassion towards those fighting this life-altering disease. Cancer awareness is the key to early detection and better health-seeking behavior. Hence the Rally is organized. Various slogans were announced at that time like Believe-Hope-Fight; Cancer not only kills the person but also kills the happiness of the Family;Tambakhu se nata todo –Jindagi se Nata Jodo. The theme for World Cancer Day is Close The Care Gap.
