Report of the Event

Dr.J.J.Magdum Ayurved Medical College has organized various guest lectures under the “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” program. On 23rd  Feb.2022, Welcoming was done by student Miss Kiran Khaladkar(3rd BAMS). Firstly Dhanvantari Pujan was done by guests. After that, Dhanvantari stavan was done.Then Faliscitation of  Dr.Arjun Patil was done by Professor Dr.Gramopadhye sir. Dr.Arjun Patil sir has delivered a guest lecture on Stree Bhroon Hatya (Female Foeticide) . He has discussed with students about the PCPNDT act, the Sex ratio in India and in Maharashtra, and how we will aware the general public about not doing sex determination and not doing stree bhroon hatya. He has also discussed various cases in his clinical practice. This lecture was thus very much useful for students for their practice in the future. After that, Dr.Gramopadhye Sir delivered a speech as a remark. A vote of thanks was given by Miss. Kiran. A total of 80 students, 20 Teaching staff, and 15 Hospital staff were present for this lecture.
